Doctor Cath Coyle
Meet Dr Cath Coyle
Dr Catherine Coyle has been a beloved and integral part of the Kirrawee Veterinary Hospital family for over two decades. A proud product of the Sutherland Shire, Catherine began her journey with us early in her veterinary studies, completing her clinical rotations at our hospital and quickly showing a natural talent for medicine, care, and connection.
Graduating from the University of Sydney in 2002 with First Class Honours, Catherine achieved outstanding academic success—placing second in her year and earning accolades for her published thesis on The Use of Neurotrophin-3 in the Treatment of Diabetic Neuropathy. Her academic excellence was just the beginning of what would become a remarkable career.
Today, Catherine is our resident ultrasonography specialist, and this is where she truly shines. Her precision, depth of knowledge, and meticulous attention to detail are second to none. Her diagnostic insight plays a critical role in guiding patient care, and her calm, thoughtful approach is deeply valued by both colleagues and clients alike.
But Catherine is more than just an exceptional vet—she’s also a devoted mother to three beautiful daughters. Somehow, she balances family life (including cheering from the sidelines at netball games!) with her demanding professional role, all while maintaining grace, warmth, and a generous sense of humour. Her ability to give so much of herself to both her family and her patients is nothing short of inspiring.
We’re incredibly proud to have Dr Catherine Coyle as part of our team. Her intelligence, compassion, and steady presence make her an irreplaceable part of Kirrawee Vet Hospital—and we couldn’t imagine the clinic without her.
