Lisa
Meet Nurse Lisa
Lisa is a highly skilled and compassionate veterinary nurse who has been part of the Kirrawee Veterinary Hospital team since 2004. A local to the area, Lisa attended St Patrick’s College in Sutherland before qualifying as a veterinary nurse in 1999. Since then, she has gained extensive experience in the care of family pets, both locally and abroad. Her time overseas not only broadened her clinical skills but also gave her valuable insight into new approaches and challenges in animal care.
With over two decades of hands-on experience, Lisa continues to bring unmatched dedication and warmth to her work. Her passion for veterinary dentistry is particularly noteworthy—she actively pursues ongoing education in the field, regularly attending conferences to stay at the forefront of dental care. Her knowledge and enthusiasm in this area benefit both our patients and the team, as she’s always eager to share what she learns to help others grow.
Outside of the clinic, Lisa is a proud mum to three children and somehow manages to balance her busy family life with her equally full professional one. She frequently fosters kittens and occasionally dogs, generously opening her home to animals in need and showing them the same love and care she brings to her work every day.
Lisa’s incredible work ethic, kindness, and commitment to self-improvement make her an invaluable part of our KVH family. We’re truly fortunate to have someone so dedicated not only to her patients but also to supporting and uplifting her team.
